BOM Recommendations for Visiting Parents Overseas
That college-age missionary children residing in North America while their parents are overseas be granted one round trip to visit their parents on the field, according to the following:
- The parents must be at least in their second, four-year term.
- The financial provision will cover round-trip excursion fare, visa charges, and local transportation.
- The provision must be taken before the MK reaches age 23.
- If married, this provision will be made only if the spouse accompanies the MK even though International Ministries will make no financial provision for the spouse.
- It is not essential that the MK be on scholarship allowance or be in college to be eligible for the trip.
- International Ministries will work with the MK on the travel plans.
Please Note: International Ministries will purchase the most direct and economical airfare for your trip. Any stopovers or side trips that you request will be at your personal expense. The additonal cost must be paid before the ticket is issued.

Get Involved...
Pray.
The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—in our denomination, in our churches, and in our individual lives.
Give.
You can help build Christ’s Church around the world by donating online to the Great Commission Fund. This central funding vehicle allows our international workers to focus on ministry rather than raising financial support.
Serve.
Is God calling you to full-time service? Do you want to participate in a short-term missions trip and experience missions work firsthand? We’re here to help you connect your passion with God’s purpose.
