Dr. Leith Anderson, president of the National Association of Evangelicals, will address Council attendees Thursday evening. Leith has authored more than 20 books, including A Church for the Twenty-First Century.

Pastor and best-selling author Francis Chan will speak at the Tuesday evening service. Francis is a church planter in San Francisco, California, and was well-received by Alliance youth at two LIFE conferences.

Charles Galbreath imageCharles Galbreath

Pastor Charles Galbreath serves as senior pastor of Clarendon Road Church, as well as director of Field Education at Alliance Theological Seminary. He is a member of the Brooklyn Borough President's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Community Partnerships.

Mitch Kim imageMitch Kim

Dr. Mitch Kim is lead pastor of Living Water Alliance Church, and teaches in the graduate school at Wheaton College. With extensive experience in the immigrant church, Mitch desires to raise up multicultural people as Kingdom workers in a globalized world.

John Stumbo imageJohn Stumbo

Dr. John Stumbo is president of the U.S. Alliance. During nearly four decades of Alliance ministry, John served as a pastor, vice president, district superintendent, and evangelist before his election as president in 2013.

Joni Eareckson Tada imageJoni Eareckson Tada

Mrs. Joni Eareckson Tada will speak on Saturday morning. Founder and CEO of Joni and Friends International Disability Center, Joni, a quadriplegic, is an international advocate for people with disabilities.

Important information for Accredited Delegates

Registration for Accredited Delegates closes at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015, at the Registration Booth in the Long Beach Convention Center. Any delegate who wishes to vote in the elections must be on site to register no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

Travel and housing

Flight Information

The three major airports are Los Angeles (LAX), which is 23 miles to the Long Beach Conference Center (LBCC); John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA), which is 24 miles to LBCC; and the Long Beach Airport (LGB), which is 6 miles to downtown. LAX and SNA have low cost carriers such as Southwest. LGB has four air carriers: Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines, JetBlue Airlines, and US Airways. Please note when considering which airport to fly into that both LAX and SNA offer lower shuttle cost, while at LGB you will have to secure a private shuttle service.
