» WHY THE ALLIANCE?
The Alliance sent its fi rst missionaries to Guinea in 1919 and built Telekoro Bible Institute in 1946. We’ve been preparing national pastors for church leadership there ever since. Local professors have taken over most of the training responsibilities, and Alliance missionaries contribute only where needed. The Bible Institute and its work are valued by the community, and it maintains excellent relations with government officials.
-
» WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
The facilities at Telekoro Bible Institute are inadequate for preparing candidates for cross-cultural work. Dormitories are insufficient, the library must be supplemented, and additional classrooms and faculty housing are needed. Since there is ample land on which to build, the national church hopes to expand the
Institute to include a training center for young people, career professionals, and couples who are being called to become missionaries.
-
» HOW CAN YOUR CHURCH HELP
• Pray that the dream of establishing a missions training center will become a reality.
-
• Participate in a short-term missions trip to help in building the facility.
-
• Provide funding for expansion of Telekoro Bible Institute.

» OUR VISION
The church has seen the need to establish a missionary training center to equip current and future missionaries. With God’s leading and the help of the Alliance family, this project will enable the C&MA national church of Guinea to train missionaries to reach the lost within their own country and beyond and to plant multiplying churches that will glorify God.
