Remember Nhu (Asia/Pacific)
Moved by the plight of a Vietnamese girl in Cambodia, The Alliance works to protect innocent children from sex trafficking.
» NEEDED
Support for a ministry that protects children from sex trafficking.
Approximate need for this project: $435,000
Approximate amount funded to date: n/a
» WHY THE ALLIANCE?
Nhu was a Vietnamese refugee in Cambodia and a star pupil at NewHope
Evangelical school in Phnom Penh, run by Alliance missionaries. She trusted
Jesus as her Savior while attending NewHope and was baptized. When she
turned 12, her grandmother sold her to a brothel for $300.
» WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
One of the darkest moral tragedies of our times is the traffi cking and abuse
of children as sex slaves. The contraction of HIV/AIDS is nearly certain. By
working to prevent the sale of children, The Alliance is partnering with an
organization, Remember Nhu, to care for these children by providing for their
physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.
» HOW CAN YOUR CHURCH HELP
Partner fi nancially with Alliance people who are working to save
children from the devastating and sometimes fatal sex trade.
Participate in short-term missions teams and personal prayer groups.
» OUR VISION
Remember Nhu was founded in memory of Nhu, and although her whereabouts
are unknown, it is because of our young sister in Christ that we are working to
make a difference for all children in danger of being sold as sex slaves.
