The largest unreached people group in Thailand is the Isaan, who live in the northeast where vast areas have no evangelical presence. The Alliance is initiating a church-planting movement that will impact three of the provinces of the Isaan region, where many people struggle financially. The situation is so desperate for some parents that they sell their children into child labor or prostitution. Isaan youth are seeking work in the cities, where they are often lured into drug and alcohol addiction, gambling, and other vices.
