English as a Second Language Outreach in Ouagadougou
Burkina Faso is one of the poorest countries in the world with about a 50 percent Muslim population. There is a lack of solid Christian discipleship, unemployment is extremely high and the daily wages of the working class are hardly enough to meet the basic needs of a family. Adult Burkinabe need to be qualified for more fulfilling, interesting and secure jobs. English classes provide wonderful ways of reaching out to the unchurched and unreached. This partnership would help the workers in Burkina Faso to start an ESL outreach program.
