The women of Sector 30 in Burkina Faso have been marginalized by society.  Many suffer from poor health and hygiene, and illiteracy rates high. A women’s center would provide opportunities for women to learn sewing, reading, basic health care, and hygiene. The women could sew marketable items to increase their family incomes, and the center would also serve as a practical witness.
