Simpson University - Dean

Simpson University is currently seeking candidates for Dean of A.W. Tozer Theological Seminary. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Provost of Simpson University. The Dean provides academic and administrative direction and vision for the Seminary. The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in ministry or a related field, administrative experience, and teaching experience in theological education. The Dean must be willing to be licensed with the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and must agree with the Statement of Faith of Simpson University as well as the Mission and Values of the Seminary. The starting date is August 1, 2009. The search will remain open until a suitable candidate is chosen.

Associate Pastor

Southern California Chinese church seeks an Associate Pastor to oversee the various ministries in its English-speaking congregation. The ideal candidate will possess a seminary degree from an accredited seminary, have at least two years of full-time ministry experience, and have a solid background in Bible preaching and teaching. Understanding of or background working with Asian Americans a plus.

Applicants for the National Office

Because of The Christian and Missionary Alliance’s primary and exclusive Christian and religious purposes the C&MA shall only employ individuals who:

  1. Profess a personal belief in Jesus Christ as personal savior
  2. Are active participants in a local Christian church

Employees of The C&MA in the National Office, as part of their duties as employees shall:

  1. Participate in chapel or other Christian services held or sponsored by the C&MA during the work day
  2. Refrain from behavior during working and nonworking hours that detracts from the Christian testimony of the C&MA or that is not in conformity with biblical standards as determined by the C&MA
  3. Be spiritually ready and willing to fulfill such other ministry functions and requirements as may be requested by the C&MA
