  • This position is responsible for all monitoring and administering of the CMAllianceU learning web site.

The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) is seeking an experienced information technology coordinator. In the performance of his/her responsibilities, this position supports the overall mission of the C&MA as described below.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of college required (4-year degree preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, as well as Moodle (or similar online learning software) and other software

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the CMAllianceU learning management portal for proper operation and linkages of the information, registration, payment, grant/donation, advertising, course delivery, grading, course completion, and graduation components
  • Creates new course sections as requested by the course designer
  • Assigns appropriate credentials to CMAllianceU higher-level users, including course developers, program administrators, and staff
  • Coordinates with and supervises the administrators of programs and courses hosted on CMAllianceU
  • Provides troubleshooting and monitoring of the evaluator/instructor’s progress in each course
  • Provides troubleshooting (helpdesk functions) for students and all other system users
  • Reports and monitors the progress of needed programming changes and system updates.
  • Creates e-mail accounts for all program users
  • Tests and deploys system updates, recommends needed programming changes
  • Processes any royalties for free courses
  • Ensures marketing and promotional information are posted and linked correctly
  • Assists in development of promotional and marketing materials and initiatives
  • Ensures availability of course resources and materials from our bookstore

  • Profess a personal belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior; and
  • Accept and live in accordance with the C&MA Statement of Faith, and
  • Are active participants in a local evangelical Christian church; and
  • Accept and abide by the Policy on Alcohol and Marijuana Use; and
  • Accept and abide by the Statement on Human Sexuality
