Mahapawn Bangkok Church in Thailand Acquires New Building
July 13, 2005
On Sunday, July 10, Mahapawn Bangkok Church held services in its first church building—a mansion the group has converted into a church sanctuary. Nearly 700 persons filled the church, including 150 members of a visiting choir composed of members from six different countries.
Other churches in Thailand are beginning to see good growth. Another church in Bangkok recently broke the 1,000-in-attendance mark. The Bible school in Khon Kaen has a record 60 students enrolled. And a new work in the south of Thailand is moving ahead; 19 new believers were baptized last month.
