Alliance Men Sponsoring Alliance Construction Teams

Alliance Construction Teams (ACT) are coming soon. This is a new opportunity to become part of a ministry to serve the Lord through building projects. You can do it—no special work skills are needed, only a willing heart. Men, women, and young adults are invited to join by completing an ACT membership application found on the Alliance Men Web site.
ACT work projects will be mostly in the northern states in the summer months and southern states in the winter, allowing ACT to take advantage of better working conditions.
The Alliance has, over the years, completed many construction projects using work teams from the local church’s. The ACT ministry has been established to provide a more organized approach to building projects across the denomination. It provides the opportunity for retired persons to spend time serving the Lord in a worthwhile ministry, living in their recreation vehicles parked a project sites, then moving on to another ACT project.
Here’s what you can expect: ACT work teams will start the day with a time of devotions, praise singing and prayer. Mornings and afternoons are broken up with snacks. Most projects will have an evening with table games. On other evenings, participants will share a pot-luck dinner, and on weekends the team may find a local restaurant to share a meal. Special bonds of friendship are formed from working and sharing together.
This is an opportunity to become involved on the ground floor of a new ministry, helping to make the dream come true of serving the Lord in this special way. If perhaps you are unable to participate as a member of ACT, we would covet your prayers for the organization and safety on work projects.
