Omar Henao often went into his bedroom to pray out loud. The Alliance pastor in Spain didn’t know that his next-door neighbor could hear him. Curious, the neighbor mustered the courage to knock on Henao’s door and ask what the prayers were about.
Henao welcomed the man into his home and explained how he could know Jesus personally. The neighbor accepted Christ into his life and became a committed follower.
After a brief struggle with cancer, Henao recently passed into the joy of heaven. He was a husband, father of three young children, and a devoted pastor. One of the many people who attended the memorial service that celebrated his life was the grateful neighbor who had eavesdropped on Henao’s conversations with God.
