Envision Training

Raising up 18-30 year-olds for a potential future in service to Jesus Christ is at the forefront of this the latest offering from The Alliance.

The Alliance Youth, Short Term Missions, and Candidate Development offices are joining efforts in an unprecedented way to enable young believers to have an “on-ramp” experience to missionary service.

These three teams are currently creating what is called “The ENvision Culture” and are looking for individuals that are sensing God’s call on their lives to service in the mission field. So often, youth attended an event and are not encouraged to take the next steps after a life-altering encounter with Jesus Christ. This new endeavor will enable youth workers and advisers to help these young people get on the track to missionary service from youth-group on into college and beyond.

The first of many training events will be taking place in Ensenada, Mexico on May 23-28, 2010. This training is a prerequisite for serving at a longer-term ENvision center located at one of 7 global locations. The most recent ENvision trip took place in Taipei, Taiwan and bore much fruit for Jesus’ kingdom, including 30 passers-by coming to the stage and giving their lives to Jesus while a Hip-hop concert was taking place.

“We have been in this region for quite some time,” says a long-time worker. “And this is truly a sign of something wonderful going on! This kind of thing doesn’t just happen here.”

Are you interested in taking this step into service? Then sign-up for the upcoming training in Ensenada, Mexico on May 23-28, 2010. There are only 100 spaces available, and they will be filling up quickly!
