Our Sunday morning following the March 11 earthquake began with a one-hour drive to the church where I had been scheduled to preach more than three months ago. Throughout the night, we experienced many aftershocks; when we woke up, there were small tremors every 20 minutes or so. Our Sunday worship was probably typical of all the services throughout Japan that day. Everyone was so happy to see fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and to share their perspective of the events of the last two days.
