On May 7, 2011, due to heavy rainfall, a Merpati Airlines plane crashed into the ocean just short of the grass airstrip in Kaimana, Papua, Indonesia, killing all 27 passengers and crew. On board was Ridwan Sam Maluegha, a leader in Team Joshua, an Alliance youth movement.
In response to the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan, Alliance workers Jane and Harry Landaw have answered God’s call to plant a church in the impacted region. Read about how you can partner with them in pushing back the darkness among those affected by this disaster.
