Typhoon Haiyan: Update on Relief Efforts

The following update was received on November 21 from Dr. Jose Dalino, president and executive bishop of CAMACOP (the Christian and Missionary Alliance Churches of the Philippines):

Praise the Lord! The Mindanao relief team arrived safely in Hilongos, Leyte. It was decided that Hilongos, not Baybay, will serve as the base of operations.

The team distributed 250 bags of relief supplies to residents of Palo, Leyte, through Pastor Arnold Rosales.Thank you for praying. The team will help to rebuild damaged churches in Palo, Kananga, and Ormoc. Pray that God will provide needed funds as well as materials, which are quite expensive.
