Max’s First Christmas

Christmas in RomeBy Naomi Ord, serving in Italy

Max is the first Italian in Rome to become a believer through Alliance ministries. Although his family practices the country’s predominant religion, there was little talk about the significance of Jesus, His birth, or the purpose of His life.

“Before I became a Christian, Christmas meant partying and drinking with friends,” says Max. “I was an angry person with a filthy mouth.  Now when I am tempted to sin, the Holy Spirit convicts me, and I see victory in my life.”

Max’s old friends have seen the change in his life and are curious. When he has opportunity, he shares his newfound faith, and he is seeking the Lord’s guidance about how he can serve God. Please pray for this young believer as he brings the light of Jesus to his family and friends.
