Hundreds of people have recently given their lives to Christ in two West African nations. A Burkinabé Alliance church in Sifirasso exemplifies the rapid Kingdom expansion in this area.
“We visited the church at the end of May and found the closed-in shelter too small to accommodate everyone who wanted to attend the morning service,” an Alliance international worker reported this week. “As the crowd grew, they [the church leaders] decided to move all the benches outside instead of trying to find room inside the building!”
Bible Studies in 20 Villages
Pastor Tychique meets with Bible study leaders from 20 villages in the two countries where there are now believers.
“These new believers are being firmly established in their faith and are claiming victory over the evil one,” the worker said. “Demonic manifestations were fewer than when we visited six months ago, and the church elders quickly dealt with any disruptions through immediate prayer.”

- “Praise the Lord for rapid church growth in the Kenedougou region and for the new village churches being established,” the couple added. “Pray for good collaboration between the national churches as they seek to spread the gospel in the border region between the two countries.”
