A Night of Intercession in Burkina Faso

Based on a report by Alliance worker Doug Conkle, serving in Burkina Faso’s capital city, Ouagadougou.

Your prayers for our country’s political situation have been appreciated. We’re now hearing stories of how God was answering the prayers of His people.

One of the interim government leaders, Colonel Zida, spoke at our largest evangelical church in the capital about the way God intervened. He told us that the general in charge of the final “flushing out” of the rebels from their military base was reportedly quite concerned that lives not be lost.

This general spent the night in prayer before the attack. And no one lost their life! This is nothing short of a miracle and will help to encourage peace as we face elections here next month.

Thanks to all who prayed!
