If you receive Alliance Life magazine, you know the impact of regularly reading about what God is doing around the world through our Alliance family.
Whether directing your thoughts toward Christ, stirring you to pray for new believers across the globe, or inviting you to celebrate new Alliance workers, this publication reflects our position as a Christ-centered, Acts 1:8 family.
Earlier this year, an inmate sent us this letter about what the magazine means to him:
I have been on a very long spiritual journey which has been fraught with challenges and personal failures.
Were it not for a man who is an Alliance pastor, I would not even know about The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA), Tozer, Zacharias, or so many others who’ve been instrumental in my discipleship unto Christ.
The “harvest field” in prison is ripe with seekers, and as I have received the Alliance Life from the C&MA, this is the fourth institution during my incarceration that I have been able to use the magazine as a ministry tool.
Being able to (from personal experiences with the pastor who chose to visit me one-on-one some years ago here in prison) explain the symbol, tenets, and activities such as “missions week/month” that C&MA engages in and supports has been impactful.
I’ve personally been drawn into deeper study and review of Tozer and others’ apologetic defenses and explanations of our Lord Jesus Christ’s truths to the point of being an apologist in here against many, many unbiblical, heretical, and in some cases satanic belief systems.
Your publication does have an impact with those of us “behind the walls.” I thank God for the financial support that makes the publication and distribution of Alliance Life possible.
May God continue to bless The Christian and Missionary Alliance and your labors in His service.
Sincerely,
Scott
In the months ahead, we hope to see even more people read about what God is doing through Alliance ministries here in the United States and throughout the world. We want them to learn what it means to live daily in the fullness of God’s Spirit.
