By an Alliance international worker serving in Kosovo
Summer is here, and the past month was filled with what seemed like “random” opportunities. But I keep reminding myself that I never know what is waiting around the corner because of those encounters. I continue to trust that the Lord will use me as I seek to be salt and light in Kosovo.
“Will you come speak in my English class?” Anna*, a new believer, asked me recently. I’ve had coffee with her a few times, and she sometimes attends our church in Prishtina. She has been very open about her new faith.
I asked what Anna wanted me to talk about. “Whatever you want,” she said, “but tell the class you came to Kosovo to share the gospel!” We set up a date and time, and I enjoyed conversing with the teacher and other students. I got to share about my faith in Christ, which had brought me to Kosovo.
Pray for the truth of the gospel to take root and grow in the hearts of these young people. Also, pray for Anna to continue growing in passion for the Lord.
