Alliance People Love on Hurricane Harvey Victims

Donna and her father, Larry, have lived in their home in Baytown, Texas, since 1961, and Larry raised six children there. They had never experienced any flood damage, until Hurricane Harvey struck. The home had to be gutted, and Larry’s vehicle was destroyed.

Alliance volunteers have been working hard to help this woman and her father get their house back to a livable condition. The workers have also had the opportunity to share the gospel with them. Larry was intrigued and asked many questions. Donna was overwhelmed with the help and love that these teams offered. “I think this is truly awesome,” says Donna. “You don’t know how much I appreciate your help, because he couldn’t do this on his own.”

Watch this video from the Southwestern District of how Donna was moved by Alliance work in Texas.
