Jesus said, “I have made you a light that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” So what would happen if each of us saw ourselves as points of light for Him?

God’s redemptive plan is to shine His light into the hearts and lives of those trapped in spiritual darkness. He chose us to illuminate this world and His instructions are clear: “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light” (Ephesians 5:8).

The 2011-2012 Missions Conference theme—Points of Light—reminds us of our sacred trust to be the bearers of His light. Use the following materials to equip yourself and others to be light in your neighborhood and the nations.
