North Seattle Church; Seattle, WA CHURCH OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR North Seattle Church (NSC) is seeking a part time office administrator. NSC exists to connect the people of North Seattle to the life and mission of Jesus. Individuals wishing to join the staff are expected to be a Christian and to be in agreement with NSC’s Statement of Faith. Primary Job Responsibilities: Work with the Lead Pastor to ensure that all office administrative, business and operational duties run efficiently, effectively and to proper standards. Provide assistance and customer service to staff members of the congregation, tenants, and to the public at large. Primary Working Relationships: Reports directly to the Lead Pastor; works closely with all staff/team members; oversees office volunteers; interfaces with tenants Preferred Skills/Gifts and Experience: - Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and create systems; detail oriented - Self-starter, good communicator, and personable; team player - High level of integrity (works with confidential materials) - Good customer service and interpersonal skills. Must be tactful in dealings with people. Discretion, good judgment, organizational or management ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently are especially important - 3-5 years office experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred Specific Responsibilities and Duties: -Administrative/Clerical Tasks -Coordinate office operations including reception, mail processing, office supplies and equipment -Provide general administrative support to pastoral staff as needed -Maintain accurate records and data -Interface with Facility Department for church calendar coordination -Communicate with tenants -Develop e?ective standards, procedures, and working methods as required Operational/Financial Tasks: -Oversee offering processing and bank deposits -Interface with Bookkeeper in relation to accounts payable processing -Evaluate and recommend purchase and/or lease of systems and equipment -Human Resource Tasks -Provide support to Lead Pastor in all phases of job posting, hiring, on-boarding and termination -Maintain employee records -Evaluate and recommend bene?t contracts and options Programs & Applications: - Gmail Suite - Microsoft O?ce Programs - InDesign - Dropbox This is a 32 hours per week position with $29,000 - $35,000 annual salary depending upon experience; benefits.
