Senior Pastor position in suburban Twin Cities An established church of 150 members in a multi-cultural suburban environment seeks new pastor summer 2018, following retirement of 27-year senior pastor. While age is not a limiting factor, previous pastoral experience within a culturally and economically diverse congregation is strongly preferred. This diversity reflects the community and will influence the church’s ministry vision and vitality for the next decade. Must be an effective Bible-based communicator including life application across generational lines. Seminary/graduate training preferred, undergraduate ministry/theology degree acceptable. Must bring a passion for Christ and his work through the local church, including documented strength at developing leaders with a passion for disciple-making. Experience in team building leadership required, and overseeing staff. Does not need to lead worship or engage directly in children and youth ministries. Experience with current technology/social media and its application for ministry Desired.
