The Executive Director of Ministry Arts leads Worship Production, Creative, Worship and Technical Arts and First Impressions ministries in the support of the communication of the Gospel to the widest range of recipients across multiple platforms. From concept through execution the position understands and translates the goals and objectives for effective communication of the CCC brand enabling the “creatives” to deliver outstanding results. This position directs ministry to further the Great Commission to make disciples of Jesus and contributes to the mission and vision by providing strategy and technology to support ministry initiatives focused on making disciples. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Supervision of Staff, Systems and Ministry Implementation – 40% • Communicate vision, articulate expectations, evaluate and pursue excellence • Position team leaders for success, hire well, place people in their sweet spot and supervise staff for results • Effectively communicate to multiple teams in a fast‐paced environment • Manage processes and people to pull off large scale events for the church and community 2. Creative Programming and Worship – 20% • Participate in Message Team and Creative Team • Provide church wide leadership through Sunday morning and special event programming • Create great first and last impressions • Support worship environments and experiences that reach across CCC’s venues that enable congregants to corporately experience God and grow in faith • Oversee creative and message processes that optimize effectiveness 3. Executive Duties – 20% • Participate in Executive Team and Management Team. • Budgets, leadership meetings, participate in whole church planning initiatives • Model Christlikeness and Christian Leadership for our staff 4. Whole Church Communication – 20% • Assure that all communication effectively aligns with the vision and strategy of CCC • Deploy creative means to reach new audiences through communication vehicles • Work with adult ministry to create electronic forms of discipleship • Innovate communication tools and vehicles for an emerging generation. OVERVIEW OF MINISTRY ROLES • Worship Architect o Worship Arts o Tech Arts o First Impressions • Communications Leader o Web & Social o Print o Electronic Discipleship POSITION TYPE / SCHEDULE • Full‐time: 45‐50 hours a week with benefits and retirement • Mainly Sunday‐Thursday, but exact schedule varies based on ministry events. • “All Hands” Events (Christmas Eve, Easter and Baptism on the Green) ABILITY / BACKGROUND • Alignment with the C&MA, as well as the mission and vision of CCC • Minimum of five years of church staff leadership experience or marketplace executive leadership with significant church volunteer leadership. • Strong work ethic, internally motivated • Prior experience with oversight of large events • Gifts: Required ‐ Leadership; Helpful ‐ Discernment, Administration, Teaching, Evangelism or Wisdom • Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum, Master’s degree preferred • Currently (or able to be) licensed and ordained or consecrated in the Christian and Missionary Alliance (https://www.cmalliance.org/serve/qualifications)
