CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR We’re looking for a full-time director to lead Alliance Fellowship’s efforts to minister to children in our church and the broader community. The ideal candidate has experience ministering to children and parents, as well as experience managing volunteers. This role requires a person who relates well with people of different ages and backgrounds. ABOUT US We are a growing church in one of the most beautiful places in America. Our current weekly attendance is approximately 120 people. A large portion of our church is young families with approximately 40% of the congregation under the age of 12. As God has blessed us with many children to pour into, we are seeking a gifted person to lead that charge. RESPONSIBILITIES • Enthusiastically committed to drawing children to Jesus. • Oversee all programming for children throughout the church; including weekly Sunday school, midweek activities, and all special events. 
 • Establish and maintain a security system that protects children in our church’s care. 
 • Facilitate strong relational connections between children and with the church at large. • In consultation with church leadership, define a vision for the children’s ministry that contributes to the overall vision. Develop a plan to achieve that vision. 
 • Discover, develop, and deploy a diverse team of children’s ministry volunteers for birth through 5th grade. • Report to the Lead Pastor about events, praises, and prayer requests for the children’s ministry. • Maintain the integrity of the children’s Bible teaching time by ensuring the instruction is consistent with the doctrinal convictions of the church. 
 • Identify and execute ministry and local missions opportunities for children to participate in. 

 • In consultation with senior church leadership, develop an annual budget for the children’s ministry and operate within the constraints of that budget. • Must be willing to become a member of the church. • Other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 
 • A desire to teach and mentor children in biblical truth.
 • Ministry experience with children. • A growing Christian faith and character. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 • Understanding of and willingness to serve within the doctrinal commitments of Alliance Fellowship and the Christian & Missionary Alliance denomination. (For more info: cmalliance.org/about) 
 • A sense of calling toward full-time vocational ministry.
 • A commitment to the mission of the Church. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:42) •A bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in education or Christian ministry)
or equivalent experience. A willingness to pursue continuing education to grow in ministry gifts.
