Media Production Manager: Purpose of Ministry: The Media Production Manager manages media support for worship services, concerts, lectures, staged programs, broadcasts, video production, and The Village Church web site while engaging in the church’s ministry with a desire to serve others. Ministry Description: 1. Manage, operate and maintain the sound, lighting and video systems 2. Oversee staging, perform sound checks, and ensure broadcast quality recording (as appropriate) for all functions of The Village Church and Shell Point programs scheduled in the church 3. Serve on the Service Planning Committee. 4. Serve on the Communications Committee. 5. Ensure all systems are in proper working order and coordinate maintenance and repairs. 6. Manage the Media Production Technician, including scheduling and duties. 7. Prepare and oversee Audio Visual budgets. 8. Recruit, train and manage volunteer team to assist with technical support. 9. Provide audio-visual support for television production. 10. Oversee SPTV programming for Channel 13. 11. Participate in planning for future growth and development of AV resources. 12. Provide DVD duplication as requested. 13. Maintain and manage Assisted Listening Devices. 14. Evaluate AV contract issues for TVC guest artists and concerts 15. Serve as liaison with Shell Point for concerts held at the church (AV contract issues, artist on-site relations, staging and reset, etc.) Time Commitment and Benefits: 1. A commitment to a ministry team approach to church staff and volunteer relationships. 2. Demonstrated Christian character as expected in a leadership role. Qualifications: 1. Three to five years’ experience with live audio mixing, including set up, operating and trouble-shooting sound systems; experience with Yamaha CL5 Digital Mixing Console and Dante (audio over network). 2. Experience in programming, operating and maintaining intelligent lighting systems, including changing lamps and moving and aiming fixtures; experience with ETC Cobalt lighting board. 3. Experience with video systems, setting up board room video projection systems and switching, including basic knowledge and maintenance of LCD projectors (changing filters and lamps) and LED screens. 4. Experience with PowerPoint, Keynote and ProPresenter presentation software, Microsoft Office, Mac OS, and Planning Center. 5. Able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights of up to 40 feet. Contact info: Karen Solomon -; 239-454-2147
