Lay Hold {Middle East}
Lay Hold of your gifts, your passions and the kingdom of God. “The kingdom of God has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.” (Matthew 11:12).
Before you arrive to the Middle East, you will be connected with a solid team that will be assigned to one of our strategically located community centers. Your team will have the opportunity to become deeply immersed in the local culture. The students and patients at our centers are hungry for relationships, giving you instant access into the lives and families of those you serve.
Qualifications
Lay Hold was designed for college-aged people or recent graduates (22-29 years old). If you are a team player, willing to listen and learn, courageous in adversity and adaptable to an ever-changing environment, you may be ready to give God a year of your life in overseas ministry with Lay Hold.
Lay Hold is for those wihose walk with God can best be described as strong and persevering. These are the kind of people who can help us here. We need you who are determined to lay hold of the kingdom, regardless of the difficult nature of the task.
Opportunities
Lay Hold is set up for your development. A coach, who will answer your questions, help you explore your ministry skill set, and encourage you as you grow in your knowledge of God, will be assigned to your team upon your arrival.
You will have the opportunity to study the local language two hours weekly with a private tutor, giving you an introduction to this ancient language.
Lay Hold is a one-year program that begins August 1st and goes through July 31st.
Costs

The cost for one year is $10,000 USD. This cost includes international travel, lodging, food, travel within country, language study and visas.
