CAMA Worker
Compassion and Mercy Associates (CAMA) is that wing of Alliance ministry which seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ by providing practical help to people in crisis. CAMA personnel minister the gospel and assist in planting churches through relief and development projects.
In addition to unusual efforts such as restoration of lives torn by the December 2006 tsunami of Southeast Asia, CAMA staff are also involved in the following ESL (English as a Second Language) work, refugee programs, clean-water development, famine relief, handicrafts projects, medical programs, mother/child community care, and more as needs arise.
Qualifications
- Clear conversion and call to ministry.
- Demonstrated spiritual maturity and service.
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) and two years of professional experience.
- Cross-cultural training and/or experience.
- Physical and mental health.
- Two-year contract (minimum); four-year contract preferred.
