The Garbage Dump People

Trujillo, Peru

AMP‐Up! and experience on‐site ministry in Peru! Partner with Rich and Lisa Brown to complete a children’s home/orphanage to house children living in the garbage dumps of Trujillo. Connect with the garbage dump kids to show them LOVE in practical ways while telling them about Jesus. Give support to parenting classes and micro‐business options for those caught in the “garbage community,” giving families hope and a future.

AMP‐Up! is an Alliance Partnership Ministry where a church youth group makes a three‐year commitment to partner with a missionary and to support their ministry project. The AMP‐Up! mission trips are designed to allow the partnered youth ministry to see the project in action and to participate on the field. Trip Costs and Fees

  • Group fee per person: $790* (price may vary)
  • Airfare: Purchased on your own.
  • Ground Travel: Purchased on your own.

*Group fee includes room, board, and ministry experience. Trips do NOT include airport taxes or visa charges. Please check with STMO if any of these apply to your destination—Ecuador/Peru/Gabon/El Salvador/Cambodia have these charges. Trips with dates listed need to travel on those days. If a trip extends longer than the dates listed a charge of $55/person/day will be charged. A 20% non-refundable deposit for the total trip cost is due upon registration. Balance for all trips is due 60 days prior to your trip. Late payments are subject to a fee.
