Special Needs

Work Project Ministry – These work projects could include providing basic, practical needs, such as home repair or construction projects. Other possibilities would be specific projects for Bongolo Hospital, a local church, or short–term ministry center that will be identified

Outreach Ministry (evangelism) – Outreach activities are planned according to the skills that the team members bring in conjunction with the local church. Typical activities include Kids’ Club, Bible studies, home visits, sports ministries, movie nights, and evening programs.

Compassion/Medical Ministry – Specific initiatives designed to bless the less privileged by being the hands and feet of God – whether loving children at an orphanage or being a helper at a mobile medical clinic.

Community Improvement Ministry – Although we will help provide resources that meet the basic needs of people, the ultimate goal would be to help change how people see their faith and how that affects what they do personally to improve their community.  This could be equipping classes for a specific trade, teaching English, or coaching them on a particular life skill, such as showing mothers how to knit or sow.

Church Development Ministry – Theological ministry, training, and encouragement that can be used to expand the Body of Christ’s gifts and skills.
