Church Planting Testimony
Why I love church-planting…
Being a Church Planter is certainly one of the most rewarding careers in Christiandom! From the moment we were hired by the C&MA my wife and I were treated like family. We were supported with the full backing of our district superintendant and my coach and overseer, Bill Malick. My wife and I have never felt safer and more encouraged to succeed.
Since the day we opened in February 2004 we have seen lives changed, eternities secured and marriages restored! We have baptized and dedicated more people in three years than I have in my entire ministry experience. Which brings me to my next realization. Church planting is the number one form of evangelism in America and around the world. In order to build a congregation you have to actively be pursuing people.
Today we are focused on multiplying ourselves so that we can reach our entire community. The South pacific District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance has been so key in supporting Tides Church in Lake Elsinore that in turn we want to be integral in planting a second generation Hispanic church right here in our city to meet the demanding needs of a growing population.
We are truly excited for what the future will hold. Our journey with the C&MA has truly just begun. We are so proud to be a part of such a committed denomination!
