Andy and Lauren Babyak

Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

photo

For the next 8 months we will serve as missionaries in residence at Toccoa Falls College.

We are so thankful that we have been able to reconnect with so many churches in the few months that we have been home. We are looking forward to more visits this spring!

Classes began on August 23 at Toccoa Falls College. Andy will be teaching two sections of a course entitled "Foundations of Spiritual Formation" and co-teaching a course on Islam.

Aaron started Kindergarten August 26 and is loving it!

Thank you for praying for the Senegalese and also for a restful and productive Home Assignment!

Prayer Requests

- For a refreshing and encouraging home assignment
- For wisdom in ministry when we return to Senegal
- That God would already begin preparing us for new neighbors in Senegal and the neighbors for us - that we might make an impact on the neighborhood He chooses for us
- For a smooth transition back to life in Senegal - and French school for the boys! - when we return during the Summer, 2011. (It's never too early to start praying!)
- That Wolof hearts will be softened for the Gospel and that strongholds would be torn down
- That we become more like Christ
- That our marriage will be strengthened
- For protection for our family both here in the States and when we return to the field
- For new Senegalese friends for all of us upon our return
- That our boys would grow in their love for the Lord

Pray.

The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—in our denomination, in our churches, and in our individual lives.

Give.

You can help build Christ’s Church around the world by donating online to the Great Commission Fund. This central funding vehicle allows our international workers to focus on ministry rather than raising financial support.

Serve.

Is God calling you to full-time service? Do you want to participate in a short-term missions trip and experience missions work firsthand? We’re here to help you connect your passion with God’s purpose.
