“Schmecke und sieh, dass der Herr gut ist.” (Psalm 34:9) What do you get when you put 50 women in a room, fine teas, coffee, chocolate and fellowship? Feinkost Frauen Tee, the first major even of our newest ladies ministry here in Berlin! As some of you know, for the past year I (Sarah) have been hosting a Frauenabend, or Ladies night, the last Friday of each month. I’ve always wanted to do some sort of women’s ministry and this is how it started. It has been a wonderful year and many women visited and attended regularly, but I still felt like God was laying something more on my heart. So after more time praying and chatting with our colleagues, Shelly and Sarah, we decided that it was time to be more proactive. We set the date for November 14th and then asked the Lord to show us the next steps. Well, the doors have opened – one after the other! We will be hosting 3 large events throughout the year in order to make the women of Berlin feel unique, precious, delicate and more (Feinkost). It is our prayer that through these large events, the women will want to be in more contact and then attend our monthly activities as well: a ladies bible study the first week of the month, and “Changing the World Through Your Kitchen”, cooking and eating together, the last Friday of the month. So to kick off the ministry, November 14th is our first Feinkost Ladies Tea – please pray with us, as we are trusting God for 50 women to come and be a part of it!...

--We thank God for our encouraging time we had at Field Forum this past month – it was great to come together and be built up, hear from God, and we’re praying that we can continue to sharpen our vision for our mission team here even after our annual meetings…

--Please pray with us for the Galerie Kunstschwimmer – pray that the gallery would be a fantastic way for us to meet new people, and that we would have more and more new and returning visitors in the days to come…

--Please pray with us for our Thanksgiving meal with our neighbors – pray that many would come, and that we would have a fantastic time together!...
