We arrived safely home in the US May 4th and have been enjoying visits with family whom we have deeply missed. Our children are adjusting to life in the states and spending time with cousins, grandparents and aunts & uncles. We have settled in an apartment in the Ithaca, NY area, closeby our sending church Hillside Alliance as well as RJ's family. Jeff has been busy finding things we need for the apartment at yard sales, as well as building us a kitchen table and a swingset for the girls. We have enjoyed some of our favorite foods once again, like mint chip ice cream, taco bell, and buffalo wings! We dearly miss our friends, neighbors and church family in Russia and try to keep up with them a bit through Skype.
We hope this year will be a great time of reconnecting with loved ones, as well as making new connections with many of our US churches.
