Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

December 2010

Hi Prayer Support Team,

Hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving.

As we are all focusing on celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ this coming Christmas Season, we want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you so very much for continually praying for us throughout 2010. God has definitely heard your prayers and answered them. Thank you.

With the celebration of Jesus’ birth, the NewHope Schools and Churches will have their annual Christmas programs which are always opportunities to share the Gospel and invite non-believers to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Please pray for these programs that God would glorify Himself through calling many Vietnamese people to Himself. Please also pray as Judy will be sharing at some of school programs, and for Martin as he will be sharing on December 26 in Ta Chek Village.

With regards to our family, we would ask that you pray for us (especially Colette) for good health during this very busy time. At the end of November, Colette missed a week of school, and this week, she missed Monday. When Colette gets sick, she gets very sick and seems to miss anywhere from a day to a week of school. Also Martin has been getting sick at different times as well. When he has gotten sick, it has also wiped him out so that he has to rest the whole day or a couple of days. Please pray that God would sustain all of us during this very busy time of year and bless us with good health.

And lastly, we would ask that you prayerfully consider giving to the Great Commission Fund (GCF). Over the last few months giving has been steadily declining. Please join with us in asking our Lord who provides for our every need to provide the necessary funds so that we along with our C&MA colleagues all over the world can continue to share the good news of Jesus with those who have never heard.

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

Please continue to keep us in prayer concerning the following:

• God will use the NewHope Schools and Churches’ Christmas programs to glorify Himself and call many Vietnamese people to Himself. NewHope School Programs – December 21 & 22 and NewHope Churches – December 22, 24 & 26
• Judy will be sharing at some of school programs, and for Martin as he will be sharing on December 26 in Ta Chek Village.
• God would sustain all of us during this very busy time of year and bless us with good health.
• Giving to the Great Commission Fund (GCF). And that God would provide the necessary funds so that lost people would come to know the God who loves them.
