Donald and Rachel Kramer

Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

photo

We are in the process of preparing to go back to the Field on June 28. That means: packing; selling at garage sales; finding a renter; and saying goodbyes. It is busy.

Recently the Taiwan Field asked us to be Field Director Couple again. It is a priviledge and an honor. Many times we feel inadequate.

Mark and Luke will be heading into Morrison Academy Dorm. They will be roommates again. It has been a few years since they lived together so it will present its challenges.

Our Field Forum is the first week of July. After this we move into our home in Yunlin County's SzHu Township. The Field Office has been moved there too. It will be a challenge to adjust to rural Taiwan after nearly 10 years in large cities.

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

We praise God for help as Don was on tour in Florida and then in Western PA. It was very special for him to be able to see close friends in FL and family in PA.

The people of the Western PA District and the two churches in FL are GREAT! Praise God for wonderful opportunities to share the message of God's amazing love for all people in these areas.

Pray that we would all have a good Field Forum in Taiwan. Rev. Kent Sovine, from IA, will be there with his team from Bethany Church. They are good friends and have been faithful ministers in the Taiwan context.

Please pray for the O'Dells as they begin working in Hsimending in Taipei. We hope to have a close realtionship with this Alliance Youth Mission couple.

Praise God that Don had his CPAP machine to use on tour. It sure helped him to rest much better. Thanks for your prayers.

Pray for Mark and Luke as they move into the dorm and live together. We need prayer as we will miss them.

Please pray that Caleb would find work soon. He is in Ft. Wayne, IN at this time and will be a senior at Indiana University in Bloomington this Fall. We will miss him when we go back too.

Pray for wisdom and good communication for the Field Leadership team as everyone will be back on the field for the first time in everyone's memory.

Thu and Hahn still have not obtained their visas to work with Vietnamese. Also pray for the Dangs who were preparing to come this summer but because of a lack of funds in the GFC have been postponed until January.

Pray.

The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—as a denomination, as churches, and as individuals.

Give.

You can help build Christ’s Church around the world by donating online to the Great Commission Fund. This fund finances our missionaries, allowing them to focus on ministry rather than raising their own support.

Serve.

Is God calling you to full-time service? Do you want to experience missions firsthand by participating in a short-term missions trip? We want to help you connect your passion with God’s purpose.
