Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

God has opened the door for a work team from Derwood, MD to come to Ecuador. Carol Laut and Suzanne Ellis were able to hold two workshops for children's workers with a full house. One night we had 69 people in attendance. There is no more room but many are interested in this type of help. Team members taught leaders how to teach missions to children.

In August and September we were able to hold two training conferences, one in Quito and one in Guayaquil. Over 270 people attended the two events with Guayaquil now outgrowing Quito.

Mid September through mid October, Joy and I were able to attend an Awana training conference in Chicago with the goal to help train others what we learned.

We just finished our first AwanaGames in Guayaquil with 6 churches participating. God provided us the largest coliseum in Guayaquil for the event, free of charge.

Randy will be visiting Paraguay from Nov. 6 to 12 to encourage and train Awana leaders in the Alliance churches there.

We are due for Home Ministry Assignment starting January 9, 2008. This will be a six month assignment.

Pray.

The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—in our denomination, in our churches, and in our individual lives.

Give.

You can help build Christ’s Church around the world by donating online to the Great Commission Fund. This central funding vehicle allows our international workers to focus on ministry rather than raising financial support.

Serve.

Is God calling you to full-time service? Do you want to participate in a short-term missions trip and experience missions work firsthand? We’re here to help you connect your passion with God’s purpose.
