Prayer Letter/Ministry Update
We've been back in Mali since mid January and hit the ground running hosting two short term teams and participating in our field's Strategic Field Review.
Now we’ve come upon an opportunity that is to say the least unexpected. A center much like what we would like to see here in Bamako is already up and running but understaffed in a North African country. The English materials they use with business people are what we’ve been researching.
Their director invited us to go there for a month to help out. As we’ve been praying about this to see how God would want us to participate we’ve received the “green light” from our Field Director and other leaders.
This morning we read the following quote in Francis Chan’s book Crazy Love:
“This place of trust isn’t a comfortable place to be; in fact, it flies in the face of everything we’ve been taught about
proper planning. We like finding refuge in what we already have rather than in what we hope God will provide. But when Christ says to count the cost of following Him, it means we must surrender everything. It means being willing to go without an extra tunic or a place to sleep at night, and sometimes without knowing where we are going. God wants us to trust Him with abandon. He wants to show us how He works and cares for us. He wants to be our refuge.”
We hope as we step out to go to an unfamiliar place that you will go with us in prayer so that it can be “a place of trust” for us.
Our visas arrived yesterday and we fly out on Thursday afternoon.

Pray.
The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—in our denomination, in our churches, and in our individual lives.
Give.
You can help build Christ’s Church around the world by donating online to the Great Commission Fund. This central funding vehicle allows our international workers to focus on ministry rather than raising financial support.
