Forest and Sarah Schell

Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

This past month Journey Church of Richmond KY, partnered with us in two projects. First, left unseen results and the second, left a great impression.
The guys and gals from Kentucky painted a clear protective sealant on the external walls of one of our churches with less resources. There are no before and after pictures, the church looks the same as when they came. But this sealant protects the bricks from moisture, which reeks havoc on our church buildings. It keeps plaster & paint from falling and prevents mold in the building. They were also able to bless those in spiritual need. They prayed with sick and encouraged the broken hearted. There are no before pictures of this either, but God is at work in the community of Mbokajaty. Our church in Asuncion is moving to a larger meeting space Nov. 7th.
The church is excited about the possibilities of a larger space to grow and to expand their influence in the area. A few months ago the church found an unused building that lacked a lot of TLC. Journey church rolled up its sleeves and did a massive cleanup and also painted the front of the new building. Since Journey's departure, the church has continued to clean and clean and clean. It should be up to par by next week! Thanks Journey for blessing our churches in visible and invisible ways!

Over the last few months Forest has had the privilege of coaching and mentoring leaders at our church in Asuncion. It has been a great time of reconnecting with our old friend Pastor Marcos Bernardini and his family. The church has set out on an ambitious, mission recently. Rent a larger building (3 blocks from its current location) and grow the church to an average attendance of 200, with
25 life groups, by the end
of 2018.

We have found a great car for our family and work here. It’s a 2009 Santa Fe and has 3 rows! If you would like to give towards this cause, we would love your support. We are still paying it off right now.

Continue to pray for our international workers working among the Muslim immigrants in Ciudad del Este ( a Paraguayan city that borders Brazil). There
are 5 mosque in this city, the newest and largest was inaugurated this month. It will seat 500+ people. Ask God to give them greater wisdom as they continue this important work

Thank you so much for partnering with us in Paraguay!
