Prayer Letter/Ministry Update

Greetings from Northern Virginia --

We are currently on tour in the Mid-Atlantic District. These weeks have been very meaningful as we have had the opportunity to renew friendships and connections with many people in our district C&MA churches. We will continue on tour through November 15th.

We thank God for the opportunity to share the work in Penalolen with the constituency.

A few quick updates:

1) A showing of the "Fireproof" movie at the Church of the Vineyard in Penalolen in August brought a number of people into contact with the church family and the Gospel.

2) Five couples attended the Marriage Encounter weekend from the Penalolen Church on October 9 to 11. Some of these couples were new contacts through others involved in the church.

3) A Women's Encounter was held the first Saturday in October with good results.

Prayer Requests/Answers to Prayer

1. Pray for the couples who attended the Marriage Encounter weekend in October, that they will accept Christ as their personal Savior and be integrated into the body of believers.

2. Pray for individuals who have attended other bridge events during the past weeks, that they will find Christ and healing within the Church of the Vineyard, Penalolen.

3. Pray for us as we continue on tour, that God will open a door for our message and generate both prayer and financial support.

4. Pray that God's people will continue to support the Great Commission Fund during these difficult times, so that the work of church and mission will not be hindered.
