Prayer Letter/Ministry Update
*Please do not forward or post without our permission - thank you!**
Greetings from the Wahlen fam in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia!
We trust all of you are having a wonderful Advent season and are taking time to reflect and remember Christ and His birth.
We've enjoyed a fairly mild fall but have found ourselves smack in the middle of the cold of Mongolian winter! Our Wisconsin upbringing has served us well. :)
The Wahlen kiddos are doing well. Ana was able to participate in a Mongolian traditional dance competition - she won a medal, which she would love to show all of you. Jack and Becca are enjoying school and preparing for their "New Years" music programs.
It's always hard to be so far away from home during this time of year, but we look forward to celebrating Christmas with some of you next year! Our plane tickets are purchased and we fly back to the US on June 14th, 2012. This is exciting for us, but we covet your prayers as we prepare things to transition smoothly during our one year absence. We are so thankful for flexible team members and volunteers who are willing to help out.
English classes will wrap up on December 22nd. Two students have expressed interest in church and one has attended. Please pray for them. We have an amazing opportunity as we build relationships with students!
We have prepared a newsletter with more information on the UBean Coffeehouse. Please e-mail us if you'd like us to send it to you. Thanks!
God's richest blessings this Christmas!
Because of Jesus,
Erik, Christina, Jack, Becca and Ana

Pray.
The Alliance believes wholeheartedly in the power and necessity of prayer. We cannot “Live the Call Together” unless prayer is central to all we do—in our denomination, in our churches, and in our individual lives.
Give.
You can help build Christ’s Church around the world by donating online to the Great Commission Fund. This central funding vehicle allows our international workers to focus on ministry rather than raising financial support.
Serve.
Is God calling you to full-time service? Do you want to participate in a short-term missions trip and experience missions work firsthand? We’re here to help you connect your passion with God’s purpose.
