  • Mary Jo is a rock star volunteer who greets most Sunday mornings at Riverside Church in Big Lake, Minn. She wears a blinking button that says “hug me” and has a “clicker” in her hand to count how many hugs she gives each Sunday. One Sunday she made it to 325 hugs! She greets everyone with a smile and open arms spreading the love of Christ one simple hug at a time. Even the littlest kids have come to know Mary Jo and run with open arms when they see her.
