This is a full-time position located at the National Office in Colorado Springs. This position provides coordination and administration of activities and events for the Alliance Youth and CMAlliance Kids offices. In the performance of these duties, this position will support the overall mission of the C&MA as described below.


  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar position required
  • 2–4 years of experience in a related position with the C&MA preferred
  • Two years of college in related area preferred


  • Creates and edits the communication timeline and content for all printed and digital communications for both offices; maintains websites for Alliance Youth and the Next Ministry Conference; creates content for newsletters, mailers, and promotional materials with minimal oversight; initiates and coordinates the production of promotional materials including design, editing, and production in coordination with the Communications Office; coordinates and prepares mailings and bulk mailings; utilizes electronic office tools including; Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Yammer, Dropbox, WuFoo, WordPress, NitroPro, Google Hangout, Zoom, and Citrix
  • Administers the relational network for the CMAlliance Kids and Alliance Youth Offices through effective and ongoing engagement and connection with local church ministries, particularly children’s ministry workers, youth workers, district superintendents, pastors, Alliance constituency, and vendors; builds relationships with CMAlliance Kids and Alliance Youth partners and seeks to find opportunities to assist reaching the next generation with Envision, Alliance Camping Ministry, and Alliance colleges; creates the development, encouragement, vision, and appreciation (DEVA) tools, makes recommendations to director, and executes plan
  • Coordinates with the director for CMAlliance Kids and director for Alliance Youth for events ranging from five to 5,000 people; conducts research, gathers and analyzes information, makes final recommendations and/or exercises authority to make decisions including site selection, meeting space, event registration and reservations, room needs, decorating, contacts, VIP guests, transportation, (including driving a 12-passenger van for some events), welcome packets, and meals
  • Travels to these events and supports the Regional Connectors Gathering, National Leadership Team, International Leadership Team and International Connectors Gathering; has some involvement in the Next Conferences, and others as needed by working with onsite and regional coordinators; participates in budget development and administration for selected events
  • As needed, travels to training sites for pre/post development of conferences and events; as a potential trainer at these events (approximately 40 days/year), researches relevant topics and methods of delivery of material and as needed leads seminars, presents trainings, and facilitates breakouts at Alliance events
  • Revises existing and creates new procedures as needed for the CMAlliance Kids and Alliance Youth offices; adjusts processes for efficiency for successful events and team collaboration
  • Engages with the CMAllianceU management and offsite administrative assistant to provide onsite support for the Children’s Disciplemaking Leadership Certificate (CDLC); serves as liaison scheduling meetings and maintaining deadlines as needed
  • Oversees the day-to-day operations for the onsite offices of CMAlliance Kids and Alliance Youth Ministries; processes and responds to routine phone calls, emails, and mail inquiries concerning CMAllianceKids and their resources; refers appropriate questions to the director or other employees/offices as necessary; in the absence of director, has authority to make routine operational decisions within established policies
  • Manages the directors’ speaking requests, calendars, meetings, and travel
  • Maintains the master files of correspondence, records emails and communication lists, coordinates the calendar for CMAlliance Kids events, and general office planning
  • Oversees a variety of financial functions, including reimbursements, purchases, and Pcard reconciliation as well as the management of the CMAlliance Kids budgets; exercises spending authority within established policies
  • Assembles, collates, and ships materials for conferences and training events
  • Assists with financial transactions such as journal credits; debits, and accounts payable to all conference/event speakers
  • Attends and works at biennial General Council; assists with Alliance Youth and CMAlliance Kids booths, events, and other duties as requested
  • Supports and assists with the development of management reports as needed
