The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) is seeking an experienced Recruitment and Engagement Manager. This is a full-time position to be remote at first, but is expected to relocate to become an in house position in Ohio within 6—12 months of hire. This position is under the direction of the director for Envision and is responsible for the recruitment and engagement strategy for the Envision Office. In the performance of these duties, this position will support the overall mission of the C&MA as described below.


  • Four-year college degree in related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar position


  • Leads strategy for recruitment and engagement for Envision by providing strategic framework and organization.
  • Develops and maintains key stakeholder relationships, new partnerships, donor engagement, and C&MA participation.
  • Facilitates all contributing components to recruitment and engagement in Envision by building a plan, setting goals, and managing and facilitating implementation of strategy.
  • Coordinates and facilitates resources for Envision staff as they engage in recruitment and engagement efforts by utilizing the wide range of gifts, resources, and people available within Envision to increase a cohesive message, approach and presence across network.
  • Develop a system to quantify and track relationships that leads to increased engagement and long-term partnership. Develop and track key metrics that help direct recruitment and engagement strategy. Draws actionable conclusions from data to meet organization goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities and efficiencies; monitor strategy performance with new ideas that will improve engagement process, system, and implementation for effectiveness, impact, and growth.
  • Gives oversight to Envision donor engagement and coordinates with Donor Engagement Office on Envision donor strategy. Actively engages and connects with Envision key donors.
  • Communicates effectively to key stakeholders to represent Envision at colleges, districts, churches, and other relevant events.
  • Has high working knowledge of Envision sites, ministries, staff, and opportunity for engagement. Connects with Envision sites on regular basis. Gathers stories and communication leads. Maintains a familiarity with short term participants and short- term team leaders to gain insight into key stakeholder audience.
  • Embodies and lives out Envision value for development, leadership growth, and transformational life change.
  • Travels approximately 70—80 days per year
