National Office Internships

The U.S. Alliance National Office is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It has a fruitful history of offering effective and productive internships that enable students to gain learning and skills essential to vocational success while contributing to the vital work of building Christ’s Kingdom. Internships are offered in a variety of fields of study that equip students for service in both ministry and in the marketplace.

The National Office is looking for a qualified graphic design student, preferably in his/her junior or senior year of college-level course work.

How long will the internship last?

Our internship dates are flexible and typically last 6-8 weeks. If you’re interested in a shorter or longer internship, let us know. We can work with you to meet your needs!

What does a design internship look like?

We are here to help you grow in your design skills and enhance your education in graphic design. This is a great opportunity to learn from talented creatives in a professional environment. You will interact daily with a diverse, cohesive, fun-loving team of designers, video producers, writers, Web and social media professionals, and funding staff that will help you build your resume, complete internship requirements for your school, and take your design skills to the next level! Learning will include:

  • Design composition/aesthetics, print-buying, file preparation, PDF workflow, image resolution
  • Portfolio review by in-house design team
  • Visits to print vendors and design studios when available

What kind of projects will I be working on?

Our design team works with a diversity of internal clients, including International Ministries, U.S. Church Ministries, Alliance Youth, C&MA Kids, Great Commission Women, Donor Relations, Alliance Benefits, Events Office, and more! You will have the opportunity to serve alongside a wide variety of ministries with projects that include:

  • Posters
  • Brochures
  • Church and funding campaigns
  • Advertisements
  • DVD/CD art
  • Curriculum
  • Fund-raising appeals/direct-mail
  • Graphic support for Web and Video
  • Photo shoots
  • and a large variety of creative projects for various supporting ministries

Can I apply if I’m not from Colorado Springs?

Yes! If you do not have family or friends to stay with, we will work with you to help find temporary housing and transportation.

Is this a paid internship?

This is not a paid internship, but we strive to provide you with valuable learning experiences. Also, we will work with your educational institution to fulfill requirements for credits, if this is an option through your school.
