Crown College is seeking an individual skilled at recruitment and enrollment building to help the school establish its presence in the Atlanta Metro area. The college offers courses at its onsite location in northeast Atlanta and students may also enroll in undergraduate and graduate degrees that are available 100 percent online.

The Coordinator manages all activity for Crown College in the Atlanta Metro area. This position recruits students for all Crown-approved programs in Georgia and serves as a liaison with All Nations Institute. The position also provides program support to students taking on-location undergraduate and graduate courses in the Atlanta Metro area. The Coordinator reports to the Associate Vice President, School of Online Studies and Graduate School.

EQUIPMENT USED/JOB LOCATION:

Works from a remote location with an office available at All Nations Institute. Equipment used includes, but is not limited to, personal computer and required programs, cell phone and other equipment, as the position requires. Personal transportation required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

Enrollment functions:

  • Respond to student inquiries
  • Qualify prospective students, moving them through the application process
  • Initiate regular contacts with prospective students via phone, e-mail, one-on-one contact, and mailings
  • Schedule student appointments and meet with prospective students to educate them on Crown College programs
  • Assist prospective students in educational planning and registration processes
  • Attend educational fairs, information meetings, and events in the Atlanta area
  • Network with evangelical churches and other local referral sources
  • Knowledgeable of basic financial aid concepts
  • Knowledgeable of the admission process
  • Familiarity with the academic program offerings of School of Online Studies and Graduate School especially those approved for Georgia
  • Assist in the coordination of the marketing effort
  • Attend weekly virtual enrollment team meetings
  • Serve as an overall Crown College representative in the Atlanta area and at the All Nations Institute
  • Periodically evaluate Web site information and make appropriate recommendations for updates when needed
  • Effectively and creatively collaborate with the Crown College Content Marketing team and provide Atlanta/All Nationals Institute-related content for social media accounts

Operational functions:

  • Be physically onsite when Crown courses are being offered at All Nations Institute (approximately two courses per week)
  • Work with program chairs to monitor current student head count in each program
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with supporting offices, including Financial Aid, the Registrar’s Office, Business Office, and other academic advisors in the University system
  • Maintain working knowledge of Crown College policies and educate and enforce them with students as necessary
  • Make sure the classroom is ready for instructional use and that an educational environment is maintained during times of on-location instruction
  • Assist instructors with educational resource needs as requested
  • Represent Crown College to students, faculty, and the community in a manner which reflects well upon Crown College and the witness of Jesus Christ

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • High familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of relationship building and quality customer service
  • Experience working with immigrant families and students from diverse backgrounds
  • Be in agreement with the Crown College Statement of Faith and Community Covenant
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products
  • Self-directed

  • Detail oriented
  • Possess the ability to acquire knowledge of student retention strategies
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2–3 years of customer service experience
  • 3–5 years of professional work experience
  • Admissions recruiting experience
  • Experience in higher education
  • Experience working in a diverse setting
  • Bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Speak a second language
  • Ability to speak multiple languages would be helpful
  • Experience working with immigrant families and first-generation students in the United States
  • Knowledge of and experience with adult learners
  • Familiar with JENZABAR EX
