Missionary to the Republic of Congo Passes Away

Rev. Norman James Larsen, retired missionary, went to be with the Lord on March 1 at the Alliance Community Center for Health Care in Deland, Florida. He was 89 years old. Norman and his wife, Margarete, served in the Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire) for 21 years from 1948 to 1968. They concluded their ministries with the C&MA due to Margarete’s health.

Rev. Larsen is survived by his wife and three children: Timothy, Lance, and Mirian. A memorial service is planned for Monday, March 7 in the Alliance Chapel in Deland.
