The focus group of this church plant in the C&MA’s Southeastern District is the unchurched population of the university community area. Many come from broken single-parent homes where biblical morals and ethics are nonexistent. The university community area has the highest crime rate in Hillsborough County as well as the highest rate of child abuse, domestic violence and juvenile crime in the county. The needs of the community are varied, ranging from daycare to tutoring to basic parenting skills. New Millenium Community Church is taking the hope of Christ into the heart of this community.
